This is a place of notes. Notes on writing. How to write. How to keep writing. How to be inspired. There are notes collected from school days, and from current research on writing. There are millions of blogs to get this information. Here’s another one.

This is also a sketch pad of stories. A collection of ideas that I record here on this blog with the intention that possibly one day I will work on one, and then another, and another until I have a book. Some pieces were scribbled on napkins and random bits of paper, some are timed writes typed directly into the computer, and some are old entries from worn pages in tired journals. I may go back and grab one of the timed writing pieces and write a story. I may not.  Yet, all of them are mine, my ideas, my stories, my imagination.

May they inspire you to write. Write more than I do. We all have a story to tell, and if we don’t tell it now, well, you and I and anyone who ever wanted to speak, may never tell that story.

Fate succumbs many a species: one alone jeopardises itself.

  1. I so enjoy reading your blog. Even if you say you are not a blogger. I am new at this blogging thing and new to the writing thing too. I love going through your blog site and seeing all you do and are doing; the links and ideas. I have attempted to find other blogs that spark my interest, but most have come up very short. I would have to scan my memory banks to remember how I came about yours…it was only a few days ago…but I’m old! But I am so glad I did. I find blogs to be like chinese cupboards, with so many little cubbys and hidden drawers. I click on links to find more links and more and then have to backtrack to try another. It’s loads of fun. And now I have found the perfect one to study, to explore. Thanks.
